Remark

This species had been placed as a synom\nym of bipunctata by Hampson (1900), but is distinct. The taxon formosicola Matsumura may be referable to bibunctata.
♂の触角は微毛状. 前種より翅が細く, 前翅の地色は淡い黄色, 黒褐色帯は幅が広く, 横脈点は小さい. 前種の夏生よりやや小さい. 前種と本種は外観上は似ているが, 形態的にかなり違いがあるので, 将来は別属とすべきである.
